American Walnut
Kitchen
The American
black Walnut and Birds-eye maple kitchen we designed and
built is now complete. We have quite a few pictures of this
kitchen so I have put them on this page as thumbnail's clicking
on an image will enlarge it. The first four pictures show
the cabinets under construction in the workshop. The remainder
are during installation or after completion The
cabinet frames are all constructed from American Black Walnut
and the panels are veneered Birds-Eye Maple. All the wood used
is coated with two coats of Acid- Catalyst Lacquer
The work tops
used in the Kitchen and utility room are Labradorite
Madagascar. Labradorite is a variety of Feldspar
originally found in Labrador, Newfoundland (Canada). Madagascar
has the largest concentration of Labradorite anywhere in the
world and produces the best quality Labradorite.
